Allen-Bradley 1756 ControlLogix Parts
Use the complete 1756 catalog number to find a controller, I/O module, network interface, power supply or chassis. These parts perform different roles in a ControlLogix system. For a replacement enquiry, include the hardware series, firmware requirements and accessories needed with the unit.
Before choosing a replacement
Match the controller and project
L61, L62 and L63 belong to ControlLogix 5560; L71, L72 and L73 belong to 5570. The L72S needs the correct GuardLogix safety partner. M16 and M24 memory boards are for the earlier 5555 family. Confirm controller family, memory, hardware series and project firmware before ordering.
Check signal type and hardware series
IF8 and IF16 accept voltage or current inputs; OF8 provides analog outputs. IF8H adds HART, with different modem arrangements in Series A and B. For temperature modules, retain the full IR6I, IT6I2 or IRT8IK suffix and identify the sensor type.
Identify the installed network
ENBT and EN2T connect to EtherNet/IP, CN2R uses ControlNet, DNB connects to DeviceNet, and DHRIO supports DH+ or Remote I/O. A matching chassis format does not establish a network replacement; include the installed topology and firmware requirements.
Check chassis power and accessories
A7 and A17 provide seven and seventeen module slots. PA72 and PA75 accept AC input; PB75 and PB75R accept DC input. PSCA2 is a passive adapter for redundant power. Confirm chassis series, power budget, terminal blocks and cables as separate selection decisions.
