Product Description

The IC200ALG620 is a VersaMax RTD analog input module designed for accurate temperature and resistance measurement across industrial applications. It provides four independent input channels supporting 3‑wire or 4‑wire RTDs with 16‑bit resolution and module‑provided excitation, eliminating the need for external loop power. Compatible RTD types include platinum, copper, nickel, and nickel/iron, with selectable resistance ranges of 0–500 Ω or 0–3000 Ω. The module features per‑channel configuration, selectable measurement units (tenths of degrees or ohms), and comprehensive diagnostics including high/low alarms, open wire, underrange/overrange, and input short detection. It supports data acquisition aligned to 50/60 Hz line frequencies with an update rate around 210 ms and includes an OK LED for status indication. Automatic A/D calibration occurs at power‑up and periodically to maintain accuracy over ambient temperature changes. Power consumption is 125 mA from the +5 V backplane bus.
